📱 Data Storage
Terrana is a fully offline app. All data you create — products, blends, notes, tags, and settings — is stored exclusively on your device using local storage (AsyncStorage). This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it using the built-in share function.
- No account or registration required
- No cloud sync or backup
- No data is transmitted to our servers (we have none)
- Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all locally stored data
🤖 AI Import Feature
Terrana offers an optional AI Import feature that uses the Anthropic Claude API to extract product information from text you paste into the app. This feature is available to Pro and Lifetime users.
When you use the AI Import feature:
- The text you paste is sent to Anthropic's API for processing
- No personal identifying information is included in the request
- The extracted product data is returned to your device and stored locally
- Anthropic's own privacy policy applies to API requests: anthropic.com/privacy
If you do not use the AI Import feature, no data is ever sent externally.
🚫 Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
- Name, email address, or any personal identifiers
- Location data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Usage analytics or crash reports
- Contacts, photos, or any other device data
💳 In-App Purchases
Terrana offers optional one-time purchases (Pro and Lifetime upgrades) processed exclusively through the official platform stores:
- Apple App Store (iOS) — governed by Apple's privacy policy
- Google Play Store (Android) — governed by Google's privacy policy
We do not process payments directly and never have access to your payment information. Purchase status (Pro / Lifetime) is stored locally on your device only.
🔗 Third-Party Services
Terrana does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking libraries. The only external service used is the Anthropic Claude API, and only when you explicitly trigger the AI Import feature (Pro / Lifetime users only).
👶 Children's Privacy
Terrana does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app does not collect personal data from any user, making it safe for general use.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
